Kruger National Park

Last month, some good friends of ours, Mikael, Kate, Isaac, and Eden, came down from Rwanda for a long weekend visit. It was great to see them! We haven't seen them since right before we moved to South Africa.

We went with them to Kruger National Park, South Africa's largest and most famous game park. It was our first visit, and it was really fantastic. We stayed in two self-cater cabins in the Berg-en-Dal SANPark Rest Camp. Piper had so much fun hanging out with Eden and Isaac, there was a lot of singing, coloring, game driving, animal watching, and enjoying!

Kruger is HUGE. In three days we explored the southwest corner of the park. We need a lot more time and a lot more trips to Kruger to explore it all! We saw numerous rhino's, which was great, considering their endangered status. No cats, but some endangered birds and a bush baby!
